How embarrassing...Trinitarianism capitulates when demands are made to back up Trinitarian word and phrase usage using God's Word.

The thesis was not an act of capitulation, but rather a focus on the central error of the Oneness heresy. Furthermore, it is a demonstration of juvenility to derive embarassment from the consent to have scholarly debate.

Trinitarians were apt to debate the trinity at one time. I believe they have been handed their hats enough times until they are now intent on debating pre-existent Christology. I enjoy both discussions though but they are both dead ends for trinitarian theology. James White is not a Christian monotheist and it will be clear in this debate.

Oneness Pentecostals have engaged in quite a few debates and have yet to provide a cogent response for the many texts that identify that the Son personally preexisted as with the Father. So too there is no consisent, Scriptural, and logical explanation from Oneness adherents for the communication between the divine persons as described in the text. In light of these things, I find it incredible that you assert that Dr White is not a Christian. If you define Christianity as holding an illogical and unScriptural doctrine of God, count me out as well. Ad hom attacks only serve to substantiate the Oneness reputation for juvenile behavior in debate and elsewhere. I think Oneness apologists ought to emulate the cordial countenance and demeanor of Dr Bernard while in apologetic endeavor. This would be more befitting for a profession Christian.

Michael, opinions are like noses and we all have them. As the debate will show with Perkins and White there is no Biblical basis for fundamental trinitarian presuppositions. White also does not speak for all trinitarians. White's view is definitely an overemphasis of the "three" at the expense of the "one" of God. This is a violation of the fundamental tenets of Jewish and Christian monotheism--"exclusive worship of and obedience to the one true God."

FYI:

On the July 14th episode of the "Dividing Line," Dr. White announced that he would be going through the Perkins-Slick debate on the air in an effort to help Mr Perkins prepare for the debate. Dr White stated that his reason for doing so was to make this event the best debate possible.

Michael, thanks for sharing the information. God bless.

Onenss Corinthians they have no right to be called Pentecostals since their cult has never really displayed anything of the day of Pentecost. But that's besides my point. They just prove that Arianism beast is still alive and that they are Unitarian and not Monotheist.

Unitarianism, Arianism, or Modalism are heretical and cult teaching by false teachers. Oneness doctrine of men deny Jesus equality to the father, they Deny Jesus preexisted they deny scripture. "And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that " I HAD WITH YOU" before the world existed. (John 17:5 ESV) hmm it seems that Jesus was SHARING something with someone. You cannot share something with yourself. Mind my language " !! Sorry but my patience for false teachings is short.

Trinitarians ALWAYS fall short of their false heresy doctrines. No matter how VICARIOUSLY they refute the belief in THREE BEINGS OR GODS, their own theology contradicts it.

I've a question for James White. If the Son is eternal literally there in the beginning then when was He born and who is His mother? He has to have bothered Mother and Father. The Bible says He was begotten.

I have a question for all Trinitarians especially James White. If the Son existed literally with the Father in the beginning, then when was He born and who was His mother. He was the only forgotten Son of God so he had to have a
Mother as well as a Father.

Is this a serious question?
